It’s all-over social media, all the awesome reviews and results. But does it really live up to all the hype? Let’s dig in and find out1

Per their official website Tint and Tighten instantly smooths and covers under eye wrinkles and Puffiness. The claim is the skin tightening silicate materials create an instant smoothing effect.

They further claim this effect flattens and lifts the under-eye. The tint is said to cover dark spots and balance skin tone. Lastly the official website also claims results last up to 8 hours.

Tint and Tighten official website states the products are clinically tested, developed in the USA and cruelty free.

I read through several reviews and the results vary. I found as many bad reviews as I did good reviews. What I didn’t see were many comments about the shade range and how they work or don’t work for all skin shades.

Tint and Tighten comes in 3 shades-Light Medium, Medium Dark, and Dark Deep. My review will be on the Light Medium shade.

Prices and Samples

As with any product you have never used, I would always encourage you to purchase the sample size if it’s offered so that you don’t waste money on something you might not like or enjoy.

Since I’m a beauty on a budget kind of woman I want to know if a product is worth the cost before going all out and ordering a $49.85 product (limited time price) or the Regular price $99.75 Unfortunately the sample package is not available at this time or I would highly recommend you try before you buy.

How It Works

According to the instructions you gently apply a thin layer on clean dry skin by putting a small amount on the beauty blender provided.  Avoid getting into the eyes and let the product set for 10 minutes.

As it dries the concept is that it will tighten and flatten the skin, smoothing wrinkles while the tint covers dark circles, and blemishes.

Did it Work?

The answer is no. There was little to no tightening. It was barely noticeable and immediately started cracking. I’m unable to say how it would work with make-up since it cracked and when I tried to touch it up it rolled, so I ended up washing it off. The tint didn’t match my skin tone at all. It has a very yellow tone to it which does not work with all skin types.

The sample package (unavailable at this time) was enough for 3 uses for each eye. I tried it for the first time after I did my skin care routine and thought maybe that affected how it functioned. Second attempt clean face no skin prep, same results. The third attempt I used eye serum, same results.

All three attempts ended with almost immediately cracking or rolling. I also want to say even if it had worked the yellow tone would be enough for me not to use the product again.

To say I was disappointed and unimpressed would be an understatement.

Would I Recommend It?

I would love to be able to say yes. However, my experience was disappointing. The skin under and around my eyes is very dry and textured, this may have been a contributing factor to the cracking and rolling.

If you have normal to oily skin you may end up with a completely different outcome.
